Affordable Accessible Housing Guide Now Available

Accessible affordable housing is often a critical element in enabling people with MS to preserve their independence and remain engaged in their communities. Learning about available housing options, however, can be challenging. Navigating the maze of agencies and funding sources supporting housing services such as home modifications, mortgage renegotiations, and rental vouchers can be daunting. To assist people with MS and their families, the National MS Society provides general information on housing related issues such as: protections against housing discrimination, financial resources for home modifications, finding accessible homes and apartments as well as several other topics. 

In order to make this process easier, the National MS Society has also developed a user-friendly resource to help families evaluate their housing needs and better understand the range of housing options available to them. This resource addresses each of the subjects listed below.
