NC House of Representatives Honors ADA

Yesterday afternoon, the North Carolina House of Representatives passed a resolution, HJR2076, honoring the 20th Anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Thank you to Representatives Weiss, Insko, Wiley, Blackwell, and Farmer-Butterfield for sponsoring the ADA Resolution, HJR2076. Also thank you to M. Alexander, Fisher, Harrison, Luebke, and Setzer for co-sponsoring the resolution. The National MS Society would also like to thank Representatives Weiss, Insko, Wiley, Blackwell, Farmer-Butterfield, and Floyd for the statements they provided during the hearing commending the resolution. Each representative recognized the importance of the ADA and the significance of celebrating its 20th Anniversary by honoring North Carolina disability advocates.
